ACADEMIC PAD – basic  is designed for Academic riding and for funs of School of Légèreté by Philippe Karl, Classical Dressage and similar style of riding.

ACADEMIC PAD – basic is anatomically shaped riding pad designed for a close contact riding without a saddle and stirrups, it is made of a non-slippery velour leather. It has extended verticaly cut flaps, decorative front gallery and two girth straps. The upper layer has a thermoactive gel on the entire upper surface. The gel reacts to the rider’s seat temperature: shapes itself according the rider’s seat and makes it deeper. The rider gains a firmer and more stable seat, therefore.

ACADEMIC PAD – basic available in two colors options – black and dark brown.

• Suitable for beginners, children and riders, who need a better support
• Suitable also for horses with higher withers or weak back muscles
• The bottom of the pad is made of a foam with a special material resistant to the horse’s sweat. Therefore, it doesn’t become stiff and hard. The pad is also perforated.
• The pad goes directly on the horse without other underpads because it is stable enough to stay in the position on the horse’s back

Why it is neccessary to use original girth Baloun? All Baloun pads are developed and tested with an original girth. Our girth has gums on both size and has thus elasticity as it needs for correct function of pads Baloun®. Some other brands girths are without gums and can make a pressure on the horse or girths with too big elasticity of gums and pads can rotate or slizing on the horse. Because we can not guarantee other brands girth we sell it only as a complet. If we are to guarantee a proper function of pads Baloun® it is neccessary to use it with girth Baloun®.

It is neccessary to correct tight up the girth for a good stability of Academic pad!
