ACADEMIC PAD – SPECIAL is anatomical shaped riding pad with medium deep seat for a close contact riding without saddle and stirrups. It has extended verticaly cut flaps and two girth straps. On the entire upper surface there is a thermoactive gel included seat. The gel reacts to the rider’s seat temperature: shapes itself according the rider’s seat and makes it deeper.

ACADEMIC PAD – SPECIAL has not the frame or the exchangeable gullet, it is designed for riding without stirrups. You can buy it without a fitting process, it suits to all horses breed.

ACADEMIC PAD – SPECIAL is made in various leather type – from non-slipery velour and smooth leather.The rider sits in the seat as well as in the saddle and is supported at lumbar section and expends less effort to a maintain the equal and proper sitting position.

The bottom of the pad is made of a foam with a special material resistant to the horse’s sweat. Therefore, it doesn’t become stiff and hard. The pad is also perforated.

The size of the ACADEMIC PAD – SPECIAL you can choose according to an approximate table. Under ACADEMIC PAD – SPECIAL we recommend using a saddle pad.

Why it is neccessary to use original girth Baloun? All Baloun pads are developed and tested with an original girth. Our girth has gums on both size and has thus elasticity as it needs for correct function of pads Baloun®. Some other brands girths are without gums and can make a pressure on the horse or girths with too big elasticity of gums and pads can rotate or slizing on the horse. Because we can not guarantee other brands girth we sell it only as a complet. If we are to guarantee a proper function of pads Baloun® it is neccessary to use it with girth Baloun®.
